5” CRT Monitor Display

The 5” display is designed to be used inside/outside a vehicle or in fixed configuration. It has been designed to display a monochrome image generated by a day/night IR camera or Thermal Imager. The monitor provides high resolution and brightness. The input to the display is composite video, interlaced 2:1 and the Brimar design includes a precision scanning system. Display cooling is achieved by conduction to the casing, a fan is not required.

Brimar is unique as it manufactures all sub components in-house, from the CRT through to the electronics and chassis, an important issue when signing contracts for 30 years supply. The monitor is based upon Brimar experience and success on US and European Defence Programmes.
