Surface Combat 5.6” AMLCD Display

Brimar have designed a display suitable for location in either a drivers station or to be installed as a repeater display inside the crew compartment of a tracked vehicle. The display has been designed to operate in today’s battlefield environment. This display is currently is service and supported with the UK MOD on front line vehicles.

The driver of a AFV/MBT with a digital navigation system requires a compact HMI solution, ideally suiting AMLCD technology. The HMI constraints in the driver’s compartment often suit a 5.6” AMLCD solution, with the options for other sizes should there be additional space available. The AMLCD viewing angles can easily be accommodated with the option for rotating the AMLCD to suit the optimum viewing angle. This display can offer either text and graphic capability and/or a video option.
