The Brimar engineering team is dedicated to problem solving and technical excellence. Designing for extreme environments and testing to the highest defence standards ensures reliable products which are fit for purpose.

User interfaces are ergonomically configured to be intuitive in use, so that all controls are easy to access and operate.
Many designs are customised to user specific requirements, and standard products can be configured or changed for such requirements without sacrificing quality.

Whole systems can be specified, designed and built around customer applications if required, or built from standard COTS products. Such systems can also include connection cables, sensors and software.
Designs are characterised by their ruggedness, high performance, high efficiency and low power consumption..

CAD systems are used to reduce design time and simulate aspects of design. 3D drawing packages are used as well as a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) package to simulate temperature and stress performances. Software packages are used for logic design simulations.
Software changes can be field implemented, so functional upgrades can often be implemented without removing the equipment from the vehicle.
